What a pleasure to read. You have the gift of writing and you bring such fine attention to detail.

Fascinating to see you wrestle with the same question I've often asked myself: What would a Morten Hallgren wine be like at higher RS? I've arrived at the same conclusion.

That said, it's a tricky line to walk, and no one does it quite like Morten. That's why I'm thrilled to see other producers offering a range of Rieslings, such as Anthony Road, for example. The most important thing for me is a clear goal and understanding of one's winemaking philosophy. Morten has that focus.

Ok - I hope you're thinking about paying this guy because that article is AWESOME.
